Three billboards advertise Fairfield and draw in people from out of town to eat, play, lodge, shop, and conduct business here. The billboards are located on both Interstate 45 Fairfield exits and on Highway 84 East as you enter Fairfield.
Use of Marquees
Community and non-profit events may be advertised on the two marquees owned by the Chamber. One on East Hwy. 84 and the other in front of the Chamber/Visitor Center office. (Use is subject to approval and space permitting.)
The Chamber produces various publications for marketing purposes. These include the quarterly "Simply Fairfield" magazine and a Fairfield area map. Four thousand copies of the magazine are printed for distribution at area businesses, the Visitor Center/Chamber Office, new resident packets, new business packets, and eleven Point of Entry sites through out Texas. The Fairfield Chamber encourages its member to participate in advertising through these means. In addition, businesses and organizations are welcome to contribute articles for publication in the “Simply Fairfield" magazine.
A free set of mailing labels of the entire Chamber membership is available to members at their request.
Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Upon joining the Chamber, new area businesses are encouraged to host a ribbon cutting ceremony at no cost to the business. Existing Chamber members who relocate, renovate, or expand are also invited to hold a ribbon cutting celebration. Fairfield’s local newspapers publish the event. Amongst the guest list for each ribbon cutting event are Chamber Board of Directors, Chamber members, City of Fairfield officials, and members of the media.
Ground Breaking Ceremony
New businesses and Fairfield Chamber members who build a new facility are encouraged to hold a groundbreaking ceremony prior to construction. Amongst the guest list are Chamber Board of Directors, Chamber members, City of Fairfield officials, and members of the media.
